Four people were injured following a three-vehicle crash on November 16, 2017 in Washington Township, Warren County, New Jersey.
Unfortunately, these types of rear-end, chain-reaction crashes are all too common. A 58-year-old male of Little Falls, New Jersey, had paused waiting to turn left into the Mobil station on Route 31 near East Asbury-Anderson Road. Behind his vehicle was a 45-year-old from Clifton, New Jersey. The 45-year-old was also stopped and about to turn into the gas station.
According to police, a 46-year-old male of Washington, was southbound and failed to stop behind the traffic. The 46-year-old’s pickup truck rear-ended a passenger vehicle, which was violently pushed into a station wagon.
Two additional passengers and an unidentified child were flown by helicopter to Morristown Medical Center.
The injury lawyers at Santini Law wishes all those injured in this terrible crash a speedy recovery.
Tip on PIP Benefits from Warren County Auto Accident Lawyer
A tip for car accident victims in New Jersey who receive medical treatment as a result of the accident: check the coverage contained in your automobile insurance policy regarding PIP benefits. The declaration page will provide details (this is usually an easy-to-read summary of 1 or 2 pages). This information will show your deductible and copay for medical bills. Make sure you keep tabs on what is paid and what you owe. You should never have to pay more than your deductible and copay amount. Your health insurance should cover the difference, or ask your attorney to contact the doctor or hospital that treated you to request that they accept a lien on any settlement or judgment your car accident attorney may be able to secure for you.
