Riverview Wrongful Death Car Accident on U.S. 301

A Riverview car accident resulted in the wrongful death of a pedestrian today, November 30, 2018.  This afternoon at 1:20 p.m. the pedestrian accident occurred at the intersection of US-301 and Duncan Road, just south of Bloomingdales Avenue, in Riverview.  Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene and closed the north bound lanes of Route 301. Tragically, the female pedestrian victim later died of her injuries at Tampa General Hospital.  A pickup truck was traveling north on U.S. 301 when it struck the pedestrian in this Riverview wrongful death accident.
